Evans Coghill Homes Joins the Village of Baxter Builder Team
August 15, 2003

Evans Coghill Homes, the newest builder at the Village of Baxter, joins Baxter's current list of builders, including Saussy Burbank Homes, David Weekley Homes, DR Horton Homes, and Miller Classic Homes.

Evans Coghill Homes has offered quality custom homes in the Charlotte area since 1995. Chris Evans Folk, Jr. and Alan Coghill Banks, both veterans in the new home industry, joined forces with the determination to make the homebuilding process an enjoyable experience. "Evans Coghill Homes is committed to building the best home while creating an outstanding home-building experience", say Alan Banks. "We have developed systems to involve and educate the client about the home-building process". A personalized Homeowner's Manual is presented to the client early in the process. The manual explains the details of the home building process and becomes the guide for building their home.

"Evans Coghill Homes complements Baxter's vision of a traditional neighborhood. They strive to the high quality standards that have been in place from the beginning", says Kerri Robusto, Marketing Director for Clear Springs Development Company, developer of Baxter Village.
Alan Banks and Chris Folk, Jr. were drawn to Baxter Village because of Baxter's team approach. "The development team at Baxter impressed us from our first contact. Each member is focused on collaboratively making the best decisions for developing a great community for years to come. We look forward to putting our home-building team to work in concert with the team at Baxter," says Chris Folk, Jr.

Evans Coghill Homes at Baxter will offer an Art's & Crafts Series and a Custom Homes Series starting at 2,500 s.f, ranging to well over 4,000 s.f. Evans Coghill's offering at Baxter should have something that appeals to everyone. "We will bring broader choices to the new home buyer in additional floor plans and the ability to custom design a home of their dreams", says Alan Banks.

The 1,033-acre Village of Baxter, located 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte is a traditional neighborhood offering single-family homes and townhouses, as well as commercial sites and more than 500 acres of open spaces.

Baxter will include 1,325 home sites and is home to an elementary school, public library, urgent care facility and will soon include a YMCA branch and retail shops and offices.
