Village of Baxter's Newest Phase Adds More Options To Neighborhood's Vision
Fort Mill, SC - April 15, 2005

Development is complete in the Village of Baxter’s newest phase. Consisting of 132 choice lots, the new phase remains true to the neighborhood’s unique architectural style. “Architectural styles will remain the same in this phase,” explains Dan Mummey, Residential/Commercial Manager for Clear Springs Development Company. But that doesn’t mean just more of the same. He goes on to say that, “Even though the architecture will be the same flavor as what is currently found in Baxter, our builders continue to add new floorplans and features to meet today’s demands. One of those changes includes attached garage product, with bonus rooms above.”

Like all other phases in the past, this new phase will include several “pocket parks”, with landscaping and benches, and one primary park. In keeping with the neighborhood’s commitment to preserving and enhancing green space, this unique park will include freestanding columns and an arbor structure. The smaller parks will feature landscaping, benches, and more.

Clear Springs Development Company will also extend Baxter’s extensive trail system through this newest phase, eventually tying the trail to the Catawba River.

Like others who now call Baxter home, residents of this newest phase will be able to take advantage of all the neighborhood has to offer. Baxter Town Center now features a wide variety of businesses including retail, restaurants, and offices with more signing up each month.

Baxter’s Market Street is now a thriving area that has become a gathering place for locals seeking great food, shopping, and more. Baxter is also home to a YMCA, an urgent care center, a public library and an elementary school, and over 500 acres of woods, trails and open space.

Baxter Village is a 1033-acre traditional neighborhood located in Fort Mill off I-77 at exit 85. Baxter is now home to over 650 families, and is planned for over 600 more homesites. .
