Miller, a licensed general contractor in North and South Carolina, is president of S.E. Miller Custom Homes, Inc. He founded the company in 1992 after working for five years with a commercial contractor in Charlotte. As a site engineer, he was involved in such projects as the Hyatt Hotel, Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.

Miller has degrees in business and building construction technology from Purdue University. He and his family live in the Lake Wylie area. They take a personal interest in their community and the neighborhoods in which he builds.
