In 1995, Chris Evans Folk, Jr. decided to turn his experience marketing premium-grade windows to builders and working for a custom homebuilder into his own home building business. Alan Coghill Banks, who had owned a
marketing company for real estate firms, homebuilders and developers, later joined him. Evans Coghill Homes was born.

Their complementary experience has resulted in a partnership as successful as the company itself. From the beginning, Evans Coghill has been determined to make the home building process an enjoyable experience. They achieve this goal in countless ways throughout the process, including daily site management. This better home building experience culminates in the delivery of the best possible house.
